The Ministry of Education and Science organized a Roundtable within the framework of the APEL-WB project (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning in the Western Balkans), in cooperation with the University of Prishtina and RIT Kosovo, with the support of the Erasmus+ program.

The meeting brought together representatives of higher education institutions, policymakers, and other relevant stakeholders, creating an important space for dialogue and exchange of experiences regarding the implementation of APEL in Kosovo.

During the roundtable, participants discussed institutional and legal challenges related to the recognition of prior learning, as well as concrete opportunities for advancing mechanisms that enable the assessment and certification of experience gained outside the formal education system.

This activity represents an important step toward building a more flexible and inclusive lifelong learning system, in line with European standards.
