The Ministry of Education and Science has opened a public call for awarding scholarships to female students/women studying in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) at public higher education institutions in Kosovo.
Through this call, the Ministry encourages the participation of girls and women in STEM programs, contributing to their academic and professional empowerment in sectors of strategic importance for the country’s development.
Eligible applicants are bachelor-level students who enrolled for the first time in the 2025/2026 academic year in STEM programs at Kosovo’s public universities and who have completed at least two exams from the first semester.
This call particularly encourages applications from students belonging to non-majority communities, students with disabilities, and those coming from rural areas.
The application process is conducted online through the E-Kosova platform, and applications must include the required documentation as specified in the competition notice. The call is open from June 8, 2026, until June 22, 2026.
