The Minister of Education and Science, Hajrulla Çeku, received in a meeting the Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Gerard McGurk, with whom he discussed the ongoing cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Science (MASh) and the OSCE, as well as opportunities to deepen this partnership in the future.
During the meeting, Minister Çeku expressed his gratitude for the continuous support that the OSCE has provided to the education sector in Kosovo, in important areas such as the promotion of human rights in education, school safety, prevention of school dropouts, equality and inclusion in education, as well as support for the drafting of education policies and reforms.
Minister Çeku emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Education and Science to continue reforms aimed at improving the quality of education and creating equal opportunities for all students, underlining the importance of partnership with international organizations in this process.
For his part, Ambassador Gerard McGurk reconfirmed the readiness to continue supporting Kosovo’s institutions in advancing the education system and achieving common objectives in the service of youth and society.
