Çeku invited the directors to be active participants in drafting the new Strategy, which will be a concrete, implementable, and results-oriented document. He stressed that municipalities and Municipal Education Directorates have a key role in the development and implementation of new policies, while cooperation between the central and local levels is essential for improving the quality of education.
During the meeting, the Minister presented the Strategy’s four main pillars: early education and prevention; improving pre-university education through the development of full-day schooling; strengthening vocational education and training in line with labor market needs; and restructuring higher education. Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the process for drafting the new Strategy, Taulant Hoxha, presented the methodological framework, management structure, and key timelines of the process.
On behalf of the Collegium of Municipal Education Directors, the Director of the Municipal Education Directorate in Drenas, Muhamet Gjoka, thanked the Ministry for inviting them to participate from the initial stage of the process.
