The Acting Minister of Education and Science, Hajrulla Çeku, together with Acting Deputy Minister Përparim Kryeziu, visited the Joint Union of Education, Science and Culture (JUESC) on the occasion of the beginning of the 2026/2027 school year. They were welcomed by JUESC President, Rrahman Jasharaj, Vice President, Vjollca Shala, and Secretary General, Ymer Ymeri.

During the meeting, discussions focused on preparations for the new school year, the key role of teachers, the importance of cooperation between institutions and representatives of the education community, as well as shared responsibilities and the common goal of ensuring quality education in the country.

Minister Çeku extended his best wishes for a successful school year to all teachers and students of the Republic of Kosovo and expressed gratitude to JUESC representatives for their hospitality and ongoing cooperation.

The JUESC President, Rrahman Jasharaj appreciated the visit of the Minister and Deputy Minister at the start of the school year and reaffirmed the union’s support for the Education Strategy 2035+, describing it as an important document for the development of the education sector over the next decade.
