The Ministry of Education and Science informs that, following the completion of the administration, evaluation, and data processing, the results of the second session of the State Matura Exam 2026 have been published.

In this session, a total of 4,433 candidates sat for the exam, of whom 2,444 successfully passed, representing 55.1 percent of the overall number of candidates.

The average overall achievement in the test is 43.2 points, while by subject it is as follows: Mother tongue: 49.3 points; English language: 44.1 points; Mathematics: 36.4 points; Elective subject: 42.9 points.

During the administration of the exam, 18 candidates were expelled for failing to comply with the rules and procedures set for the administration of the State Matura Exam.
