The State Council for Teacher Licensing (SCTL) has opened the Public Call for the engagement of local experts for the evaluation of applications of professional development programs for teachers and educational staff (PDP).
The call aims to select experts who will be engaged in teams for the professional evaluation of applications, according to the respective fields and levels of pre-university education, in accordance with Administrative Instruction No. 12/2023 on the criteria and procedures for the approval of professional development programs for teachers and educational staff.
Eligible to apply are teachers, principals and deputy principals of educational and training institutions (ETI), as well as other education experts who meet the criteria defined in the call.
Candidates may apply in one or more fields of expertise: early childhood education; teaching and learning; management and quality assurance of ETI; student assessment; inclusion in ETI; vocational education and training and adult education (VETAE); as well as development of digital competence.
The application is open from 31 August until 11 September 2026. Candidates must submit the completed and signed application form, an updated CV, and the signed declaration on conflict of interest and confidentiality.
The complete documentation must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Archive of the Ministry of Education and Science (MEST), Office No. 04, ground floor, during regular working hours. The envelope must be marked: “Application for Expert for Evaluation of PDP Programs – SCTL”.
