For the 2026/2027 school year, the Ministry of Education and Science will once again support students in Vocational Education and Training (VET) by awarding 100 scholarships, with the aim of encouraging enrollment in shortage occupations and increasing the participation of girls in technical fields.
The scholarships are intended for tenth-grade students enrolled in VET institutions and amount to €50 per month, or €500 per school year (excluding July and August). Support will continue for three years of schooling, in accordance with the established criteria.
Of the total number of scholarships, 70 are intended for students enrolling in shortage occupations, while 30 are reserved for girls who choose technical fields, with the aim of developing professional skills in areas where the labor market needs new qualified workers.
The application period is from July 9 to October 1, 2026. Students must submit their applications and documentation to their respective VET institutions. VET institution directors must submit the applications through the Ministry of Education and Science’s registry/archives to the Department of Vocational Education and Training (DVET) by October 5, 2026.
