The Ministry of Education and Science informs that tomorrow the State Matura Exam 2026, first session, will be held, with the participation of 19,514 students across 152 testing centers nationwide.

The testing process will be administered by 1,360 supervisors and 750 chairpersons and members of commissions. The exam will begin at 10:00 and conclude at 12:30.

All candidates are required to arrive at their designated testing centers no later than 09:00, in order to complete identification and seating procedures on time.

The State Matura Exam 2026 will be conducted in a single day for all subjects and all candidates. The exam consists of 100 tasks, specifically 25 tasks for each of the four subjects: mother tongue, English language, mathematics, and one elective subject chosen by the candidate.

We remind all candidates that possession of mobile phones or any other electronic devices during the exam is strictly prohibited. Any candidate found in possession of such devices will be immediately expelled from the exam, regardless of whether the device has been used or not.

The Assessment Center has completed all necessary preparations for the successful conduct of the exam, while supervisors and commission members have been trained and equipped with the relevant guidelines.
