Acting Minister Çeku welcomed the finalists of the joint Kosovo–Albania Albanian Language Olympiad

The Acting Minister of Education and Science, Hajrulla Çeku, together with the Acting Minister of Culture and Tourism, Saranda Bogujevci, today welcomed the finalists of the joint Kosovo–Albania Albanian Language Olympiad for ninth-grade students.

At the ceremony organized for this occasion, Minister Çeku and Minister Bogujevci awarded certificates to eight finalists from Kosovo, who ranked among the top three places of this Olympiad, which included a total of 21 finalists from Kosovo and Albania.

Minister Çeku congratulated the students on their achievements, praising their dedication to cultivating and advancing knowledge of the Albanian language. He emphasized that their success is proof of the great potential of our youth and the importance of promoting the Albanian language through joint educational activities between Kosovo and Albania.

Of the eight finalists from Kosovo, one student was awarded first place, achieving over 85 percent of the points on the test; two students took second place with results between 75 and 85 percent; while five students ranked third with results between 65 and 75 percent of the points.

The joint Kosovo–Albania Albanian Language Olympiad aims to foster love for the mother tongue, promote linguistic culture, and strengthen educational cooperation between the two countries.
